Processors of India (OPPI) and the German Plastics
and Rubber Machinery Association within VDMA
jointly organize the Indo-German Plastics Technology
Seminar with the aim to introduce a wide range
of emerging plastics processing technologies to
the Indian Plastics Processors. VDMA (German
Engineering Federation) is one of the key association
service providers in Europe and offers the largest
engineering industry network in Europe.
The 5th Conference will focus on plastics machinery
for the automotive industry emphasizing the
practical use of technologies to improve processes.
13 renowned speakers from some of the world
leading plastics machinery producers from Germany
will present papers focusing on latest technologies
for this major field of application. The presentations
would also examine factors like cost savings and
improving profits.
Plastics and rubber consumption is increasing and
further growth may be expected because of the
enormous rise in demand for its products in numerous
key sectors such as the automotive industry. Not only
is the demand for equipment for the processing and
manufacture of plastics rubber therefore growing
continuously, but the demands regarding quality,
productivity and reliability of the machinery used are
rising at the same time
In essence the Conference would provide the Indian
plastics processing industry with sophisticated
technologies that could give them the edge in
developing market opportunities, improving
productivity and hence being able to compete
globally.
