Nissei Plastic Industrial Co. Ltd. will feature several new injection molding presses at NPE 1997, set for June 16-20 in Chicago.

The company will feature its ES series of electric injection presses, which recently were exhibited at IPF '96 in Chiba, Japan. The ES series includes the ES7000, with 360 tons of clamping force; ES4000 with 180 tons; ES40 with 40 tons; and a vertical machine, model ES40T.

One feature of the series is Nissei's patented screw-back pressure control system, which allows for substantially stable plastication and kneading.

Nissei also will feature the FV9200 at NPE, a new large press with 860 tons of clamping force. The machine uses a rotary jam injection system, which has a larger ratio between injection stroke and screw diameter than conventional presses. The company claims the feature allows improved response and control precision during injection.

In the United States, Nissei is represented by Nissei America Inc. of Anaheim, Calif.
