GOLSTON CO. IS SOLD TO TEXAS-BASED ISSI

SANGER, TEXAS — Golston Co./MPA Systems of Sanger was bought by Integrated Security Systems Inc. on Dec. 31 for about $4.8 million.

In addition, real estate and facilities were acquired for $1.5 million. ISSI assumed about $650,000 in debt.

ISSI, based in Irving, Texas, will continue to operate the plastic injection molding plant in Sanger. Golston Co., sold by founder S. Webb Golston, will become an ISSI subsidiary and will continue to make carriers used in pneumatic tube systems for drive-up banking and hospital environments.

Golston also provides specialized modular buildings to financial institutions, and makes architectural indoor signage.

Golston becomes ISSI's fourth wholly owned subsidiary.
