LEOMINSTER, MASS. — An accountant who became part owner of Union Products Inc., known for its plastic pink flamingo, has sued his former partners, claiming he was wrongfully discharged.
Jim Jarosz, former vice president and treasurer, demands $6.2 million in a lawsuit filed Jan. 24 in Superior Court in Worcester, Mass. Named as defendants are President Don Featherstone; Dennis Plante, vice president; and Edward Boudreau, vice president and operations manager.
Last fall the Leominster firm removed Jarosz. The suit hinges on whether Jarosz had a permanent employment pact.
