HANCOR NAMES DAIL HERMAN PRESIDENT

Findlay, Ohio - Dail Herman has been named president of Hancor inc., a Findlay extruder of plastic drainage products for agricultural, industrial, construction and consumer markets.

Hancor's chairman and former president, Fred Kremer Jr., will continue as chairman.

The company has 1,100 employees and 15 manufacturing plants in 13 states. Hancor, which placed 13th on Plastics News' ranking of pipe, profile and tubing extruders, had 1996 estimated sales of $160 million.

Herman's previous experience in the plastics industry includes a 16-year stay as chairman, president and chief executive officer of AutoStyle Plastics Inc. of Grand Rapids, Mich., until its recent sales te Venture Industries. AutoStyle specializes in aftermarket automotive exterior parts.
