ALBIS CORP. OUTLINES MANAGEMENT CHANGES

ROSENBERG, TEXAS — Albis Corp. recently announced several management changes.

Ron Krainz, who will retire in several months as president of Albis Corp., gradually is turning over his duties to Mark Bruner, who joined the company in October as president and chief executive officer of Albis North America.

Krainz has been in charge of all of Albis' U.S. activity for the 27 years he has been with the Rosenberg-based resin compounder and distributor. He will continue to direct Rosenberg operations until his retirement.

Bruner had been head of Huntsman Corp.'s polystyrene and expanded PS businesses until early in 1996. He also worked for Shell Chemical Co.

Albis also named Martin Schmitz director of marketing and product management; Barry Shama general manager of operations for Albis Canada Inc.; Harry Meijer vice president of international trading and procurement; and Del Strandburg vice president of sales, North America.
