Makers of thermoforming equipment will be emphasizing computer-controlled systems, trimming applications and counting and stacking processes at NPE 1997.

The following is a list of companies and their featured equipment.

Fontijne America BV (Booth E11907): Hydraulic platen presses used for rubber, plastic, laminating and plywood.

Lyle Industries Inc. (Booth N6540): Model 130FMT servo-driven thermoformer with steel-rule die trim station and 30-inch-by-30-inch mold size; APH automated product handling system that counts and stacks trimmed polypropylene parts; Model 130PV servo-driven vertical trim press with product-handling system; Windows 95-based computer control touch-screen system.

Maac Machinery Corp. (Booth S423): System 9000 computerized machinery control software/hardware package enhancement does not require the customer to program the system.

Marbach Tool & Equipment Inc. (Booth N4059): Thermoforming and trim-in-place 70-cavity tool for yogurt cups; new infrared pre-heating system for polypropylene.

Sencorp Systems Inc. (Booth N5116): Sencorp series 3033 high-speed servo-drive thermoformer featuring draw forming and trimming capability with an in-line counting and stacking system; Armac series 3040 XPS thermoforming and trimming system for expanded polystyrene foam sheet.
