CARPCO V-STAT FOR SEPARATING PVC FROM WIRE

CHICAGO—The Carpco V-Stat Sep- arator removes nonconductive materials electrostatically and is being shown at NPE 1997.

When used for the recovery of PVC from chopped wire tailings, V-Stat proves to be an alternative to wet dense media recovery systems. The machine yields a PVC product with less than 0.02 percent contaminants from wire and cable tailings.

The process rejects nylon and other contaminants while salvaging PVC, polyethylene and other plastics. Carpco boasts of the separator's efficiency, automation, low power consumption and subsequent lower landfill costs and additional revenue.
