This week, Plastics News senior reporter Frank Esposito relates two big DuPont stories: The company is expanding a joint venture with Tate & Lyle in Tennessee; and DuPont also will sell its Zenite-brand liquid crystal polymer and Thermx-brand PCT businesses to a unit of Celanese Corp. In addition, Plastics Color Corp. plans to open a color and additives concentrates plant in California later this year.
