By Design: Geocell Systems' Al Arellanes

Anyone familiar with stacking sandbags knows that it is backbreaking work. Geocell Systems in San Francisco has developed the Rapid Deployment Flood Wall, a PCTG product made possible by partnerships with Eastman Chemical and Spartech. The wall received a 2010 IDEA gold award in the commercial category at the recent Industrial Designers Society of America conference in Portland, Ore. There, PN Editor Robert Grace caught up with Geocel President Al Arellanes.
