Plastics key to MyFordTouch

Ford Motor Co. and Sabic Innovative Plastics are together at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. In this video clip from PN bureau chief Rhoda Miel, officials from both firms explain how plastics are key to the automaker's new "My Ford Touch." The company boasts that the system â€" mirrored on its Lincoln brand vehicles as “MyLincoln Touch†â€" reduces driver distraction by simply placing most used controls at easy access points, but for the plastics industry, the system also indicates changes happening of which drivers are not aware.
