Eastman Chemical Co.'s Gaylon White received a Personal Recognition Award from the Industrial Designers Society of America at its recent annual meeting for his influential support of the industrial design community. White started his career as a sportswriter and served in a variety of communications-related positions before joining Eastman in 1992. In his current role, White is the director of Eastman's design programs. Under his leadership, the company launched its Innovation Lab, an award-winning website for designers and brand owners.
