TAMPA, FLA. (Feb. 1, 10:15 a.m. ET) — Steinwall Inc. of Coon Rapids, Minn., is Plastics News’ latest Processor of the Year, the newspaper announced at a Jan. 31 ceremony and reception during its Executive Forum.

Steinwall, a custom injection molder, makes parts for a range of markets, including vehicles for agricultural and lawn and garden, appliances, computers, consumer goods, recreation and medical.

Under owner Maureen Steinwall, the company has earned a reputation as a pioneer in employ training, through its video work instructions at the press. Steinwall also developed an extensive series of orientation videos for new employees.

Steinwall was a finalist for last year’s Processor of the Year Award.

Officials from Steinwall and the two other finalists attended the event in Tampa. The other finalists are: Bemis Manufacturing Co. of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and Rodon Group LLC of Hatfield, Pa.

The Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. sponsored the award.
