Nissei America Inc. (Booth 3503) will roll out its new NEX-III series injection press at NPE2012.

The NEX-III is the latest generation of Nissei’s NEX line of all-electric machines. Small and mid-size presses ranging in clamping force from 30 tons to 180 tons, have been updated as the NEX-III series.

New features include an updated injection unit and a new TACT IV controller.

The injection unit was designed to provide better plasticizing by subdividing and optimizing the barrel temperature control zones. As a result, it offers:

• Better energy efficiency, since the newly designed nozzle and barrel permit better thermal conduction, shortening the lead time by 25 percent and saving power by 8 percent.

• Improved mold stability, by eliminating fluctuation of resin temperature, which happens at startup.

• Shorter plasticizing time, because of its subdivided, two-zone controlled rear heater.

Nissei America, based in Anaheim, Calif., said the new TACT IV controller offers a larger screen, newly designed operation panel and user-friendly operation, It boasts a 15-inch display that can show two windows vertically.
