The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 40 percent, six-year tax credit to help finance the expansion on Jan. 30. U.S. Yachiyo — part of Yachiyo Industry Co. Ltd. of Yachiyo, Japan — blow molds plastic tanks for Honda Motor Co. Ltd.’s assembly plant in nearby Marysville, Ohio.

Local city and county officials also were expected to approve tax breaks to help finance the 40,000-square-foot addition.
