High Tech offers TEC 4 controller retrofit

High Tech Extrusion GmbH of Korneuburg, Austria, has developed a TEC 4s retrofit extruder control system, in cooperation with Siemens AG.

High Tech Extrusion is the umbrella brand name of four sister companies — extruder maker Theysohn Extrusionstechnik GmbH, extrusion die maker Topf Kunststofftechnik GmbH, and Theysohn Extruder-Komponenten Salzgitter GmbH, which builds screws and barrels.

The TEC 4s is available as a retrofit kit. The 19-inch color touch screen has large keys and has an intuitive graphic design. Profibus communication links the controller and all drives, peripheral devices and downstream equipment.
