LUDWIGSHAFEN, GERMANY (March 5, 11:30 a.m. ET) — BASF SE has purchased the PET foam business of Italian company B.C. Foam SpA, headquartered in Volpiano. The acquisition includes production facilities and intellectual property rights, as well as a special extrusion process that enables the production of high-performance PET foams with very high densities.
