RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIF. (March 9, 12:05 p.m. ET) — Prestige Mold Inc. of Rancho Cucamonga has separated its injection molding department into a new entity, Pres-Tek Plastics.

Initially, the operation has two employees and two presses — a 160-ton Husky Hylectric and an all-electric 300-ton Toyo — and plans to operate up to 12 machines, said Lance Spangler, Prestige Mold president.

Prestige Mold set up an injection molding department more than five years ago and established Pres-Tek Plastics in February with plans to install a Class 100,000 clean room. Geoff Lowery is the operation’s product manager for injection molding.

Donna Pursell is CEO of Prestige Mold.

Prestige is exhibiting at NPE2012 in booth 7355.
