ORLANDO, FLA., (April 4, 8 a.m. ET) — Kammann USA (Booth 24033) is celebrating after sealing a deal at NPE2012 to sell one of its K15 CNC printing machines.

The Portmouth, N.H.-based company manufactures and sells a range of printing and labeling machines from ‘extra small’ through to ‘extra large’ to a variety of customers producing plastic bottles, tubes and other containers, said Paul Bolduc, Kammann USA president.

The servo-driven K15 CNC machine comes in four sizes and has complete CNC-functionality, printing onto any plastic, glass or metal shape or form. The company has sold 61 such machines, with 12 located in the U.S.

“The accuracy of the servo-drive enables faster, ‘pin point’ motion control of the bottle and the squeegee print stroke,” said Buldoc.

The flexible handling system allows for both vertical and horizontal infeed and outfeed of articles, the company said.

The smallest of Kammann’s machines has a footprint of 13.5 square meters, while the extra large machine covers 36 square meters.
