AGR adds capabilities to OptiCheck system

AGR International Inc. has added two new capabilities to its OptiCheck vision inspection and measurement system.

A base inspection module uses a single, vertically oriented camera and adjustable LED lighting. It identifies common base defects like holes, opaque spots, contamination, un-melted material, under-blown or improperly formed bases and base folds.

A transparent sidewall module places four cameras to show complete, 360-degree imaging of round and non-round containers.
