Sacmi Group’s Sytrama robot unit showed the new 811G high-speed, side-entry robot running at NPE2012 on a Negri Bossi Janus injection molding press.
The robot was integrated into a demonstration of in-mold labeling, making a two-cavity thin-wall container with a five-sided label. Cycle time was 4.9 seconds.
Sytrama also introduced the 251G beam robot, designed for large injection molding machines with clamping forces from 1,200 to 3,000 tons. The 251G is well-suited for automotive and large-part appliance molding, thanks to its 88-pound payload and long strokes.
