PN's third annual PMD conference, held June 11-13, 2012, in Westlake, Ohio, address the potential for even greater use of plastics in medical applications. Cardinal Health Inc.'s Nick Fotis gives details on entering and supplying the medical devices market. Fotis is E&D director--PreSource & Scientific Products for Cardinal. Fotis indicated that firm's entering the medical devices market will need patience and should be prepared to do their research. Fotis said firms also should not be afraid to put some responsibility on the medical device manufacturers.
