Davis-Standard sells $10m in equipment at NPE

PAWCATUCK, CONN. (July 13, 12:30 p.m. ET) — Davis-Standard LLC officials said the company sold nearly $10 million worth of equipment during NPE2012, held in Orlando, Fla., in April.

The sales included three sheet lines, two foam sheet lines, a cast film line, a profile line and several extruders.

The Pawcatuck-based machinery manufacturer reported the NPE results in its Keystone Review newsletter for July, August and September. Company officials could not be reached for further comment,

Davis-Standard generated more than 700 leads over the four-day NPE. Officials estimated that nearly 1,000 current and potential customers visited the booth to discuss new projects and business prospects for the coming year.

The company had two running extrusion lines in Orlando.
