AKRON, OHIO (Aug. 2, 1:15 p.m. ET) — Plastics News has three new staffers, one each in the sales, data products and editorial departments.

On the sales side, Mark Malloy is joining the newspaper as a regional sales manager, covering the western Great Lakes, northern plains and West Coast.

Malloy comes to PN from tooling components supplier Progressive Components International Corp., where he worked in a variety of roles including sales coordinator, sales and marketing manager and most recently general manager of Progressive’s ToolingDocs division.
