Centre Lane buys Oracle, will merge it with LLFlex

NEW YORK (Aug. 31, 2:20 p.m. ET) — New York investment firm Centre Lane Partners LLC recently acquired Oracle Flexible Packaging Inc. and is combining the Winston-Salem, N.C. flexible packaging company with LLFlex LLC of Louisville, Ky.

Oracle operates two manufacturing facilities in Winston-Salem and has 280 employees. It serves the healthcare, food and beverage, and consumer products markets.

According to its website, the company has a 450,000 square foot flexible packaging production facility as well as a 330,000 square foot aluminum foil production and converting facility. It got its start in 1927 as a small tin foil maker.

LLFlex is a maker of metals-based laminates for packaging and industrial markets and employs 140. It serves the tobacco packaging, wire and cable armament and building and construction facing industries.

“We are excited to bring these businesses together to create a true market-leader in the development, production and supply of high-performance packaging and converted products,” said Nathan Richey, managing director at Centre Lane, in a statement.
