LPKF presents compact laser welding system

LPKF Laser & Electronics of Tualatin, Ore., introduced the LQ-Smart, a compact laser welding system for plastics.

The LQ-Smart offers the same welding performance as the LQ-Integration, at a smaller size. The combined laser and clamping unit measuring 13 by 24 by 15 inches. The cabinet is 12 by 21 by 16 inches.

It can be used as a standalone system for integrated into an automated production line.
