GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (Oct. 16, 10:25 a.m. ET) — The U.S. thermoforming industry is financially solid and enjoys a stable workforce, but needs capital investment to replace older equipment, said Jeff Mengel, a partner with Plante & Moran in Chicago. The average age of a thermoforming press is 14 years old, Mengel said at the Society of Plastics Engineers Thermoforming Conference.
