NEW LONDON, N.C. (Oct. 25, 10 a.m. ET) — Composite and PVC decking manufacturer Fiberon LCC has added to its extensive distribution network a building products distributor with more 50 locations in North America, including more than a dozen in Canada.
The New London, N.C., company announced last week that it has inked a distribution agreement with Guardian Building Products Distribution Co. to carry its decking and railing product lines.
The agreement covers all the locations of both Guardian Building Products Distribution Canada Inc. and U.S.-based Guardian Building Products Distribution Inc. Guardian serves independent building materials dealers, professional builders, large contractors, mass merchandisers and national co-ops.
Both of the Guardian distribution companies are subsidiaries of Guardian Building Products, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Guardian Industries Corp.
Guardian Industries, based in Auburn Hills, Mich., is a global manufacturer of float glass, fabricated glass products, fiberglass insulation and other building materials for commercial, residential and automotive applications. Its automotive trim group, SRG Global Inc., is a global supplier of advanced, high value coatings for plastics.
Fiberon also has added Lumber Yard Supply Co. — which has distribution centers in Great Falls and Billings, Mont., and Spokane Valley, Wash. — to its distribution network.
