AHMEDABAD, INDIA (Oct. 25, 10 a.m. ET) — Ferromatik Milacron India, part of Cincinnati-based Milacron LLC, recently introduced new machine sizes to the Indian market.
At an October open house in Ahmedabad, where it is based, Ferromatik Milacron unveiled its 3,200-metric-tonne Maxima Servo and its Vista Servo Series, offered in clamping forces of 50-200 tonnes.
The Maxima, which Milacron said is the largest injection molding machine made in the country, is designed to serve various markets, such as automotive and consumer durables. The Vista is touted as a new-generation, energy-efficient line targeted at segments like writing instruments, electrical switches and medical.
Established in 1996, FMI is a leading manufacturer of plastics injection molding machines in India, with capacity to manufacture 1,500 machines each year.
