Versa-Slides touted for saving time and tooling costs

DME Co. of Madison Heights, Mich., has introduced the Versa-Slide standard slide assemblies, for use in place of different slides that many customers have created on their own.

The interchangeable Versa-Slides reduce design time and overall tooling costs, and can reduce costs by up to half, DME said.

Versa-Slide assemblies come in 10 different overall widths, and components can be mixed to form thousands of combinations.
