Feddem shows small-scale extruder at Fakuma

Feddem GmbH & Co. KG introduced the FED 26 MTS small-scale extruder at the Fakuma show in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

It has a screw diameter of 26.6 millimeters, speeds of up to 1,200 revolutions per minute and drive power to 28 kilowatts.

Depending on the application, screw untis are available in various grades of steel, from nitrided steel to special HIP (hot isostatic pressing) alloys.

The FED 26 MTS can be used for masterbatch production and small-scale compounding. It also is suited as a laboratory extruder, said the Feddem in Sinzig, Germany.
