Milacron LLC has expanded its line of Magna T Servo (MTs) injection presses to include machines with larger clamping forces, of 500 and 550 tons. MTs presses achieve 40-60 percent more efficiency than a conventional hydraulic machine by coupling a variable-speed electric servomotor to drive a fixed gear pump.
