There are quite a few plastic products in Mark Andol's Made in America Store in Elma, N.Y.
The problem, though, is there are quite a few products missing.
The Wall Street Journal has a feature about the store today headlined "'Made in America' Has Its Limits." Plastic products are part of the story, but the focus is on products that Andol can't find, like electronic products, sneakers and tea bags.
One issue, according to the WSJ, is that Andol is very picky about what products he sells in the Made in America Store. Take tea bags, for example. He was selling a certain brand of tea that was grown in America -- but he took it off the shelves when he found out the bags themselves were imported from Japan.
The store has become something of a tourist attraction in Elma. More than 150 tour buses, mostly from the Midwest, have visited, according to the story, and Andol plans to move to a new location that's nearly twice as big.
