NEWARK, DEL. (Nov. 29, 1 p.m. ET) — Invista’s Specialty Materials business said Nov. 27 that is has expanded its footprint by 20 percent at the company’s 60,000-square-foot Applied Research Center in Newark. “Global demand for high-value products in customer applications continues to drive our business forward,” said Bob Francois, president, Invista Specialty Materials, in the statement.

“Expanding our facilities at the Applied Research Center will allow Invista to continue innovating and improving its proprietary technology platforms, as well as create real long-term value for our customers.”
