MUNICH, GERMANY (Nov. 29, 1 p.m. ET) — KraussMaffei AG this week commissioned a second assembly hall at its plant in Sucany, Slovakia, doubling capacity of the factory.
Once the work is completed, the production area will total 13,000 square meters.
“Doubling of the production capacities is an important move for the KraussMaffei Group so that it can cope even better with the increasing demand for electric injection molding machines and reaction process machinery and systems on our core markets and on growth markets such as eastern Europe and Asia”, Chairman Jan Siebert said in a statement.
The plant will produce for the KraussMaffei-brand injection molding machines in the EX series, linear robots, reaction process machines and systems, and component trimming machines.
