Indiana molder Creative Liquid adding equipment

KENDALLVILLE, IND. (Nov. 29, 1:10 p.m. ET) — An Indiana injection molder is investing $1.4 million in new equipment and adding 12 jobs.

Creative Liquid Coatings Inc. received tax abatements from the city of Kendallville, Ind., for both of its locations in the city, said Mayor Suzanne Handshoe.

A molding facility is set to spend $1 million in a new press and molding equipment while an additional $400,000 is set to go into a nearby building for upgrades to computer equipment and other operations, Handshoe said.

Creative Coatings currently has 220 employees. It molds and paints plastics and composites as well as metal for the auto industry.
