Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. has launched its next-generation HyPET injection molding machines.

Improvements include enhanced productivity and reduced energy consumption. The line has a new control interface with simplified operator control, improved flexibility for mold changes and optionos for faster cycle times. Combined with HyPET’s electric screw drive, those improvements result in a 5 percent lower energy consumption than the previous generation HyPET, according to Husky.

Many of the HyPET HPP (high performance package) technologies have now been applied to HyPET components and sub-systems.

Husky is based in Bolton, Ontario.
