EC-Series conveyor made for bulk products

Published: December 5, 2012 6:00 am ET

Shibuya Hoppmann Corp. has introduced the EC-Series bulk product conveyor, entirely made in the United States.

The E-Series can be used as a bulk conveyor, or it can be modified to accommodate a bulk hopper for prefeeding.

The conveyor uses formed edge product rails, which are slotted to adjust the amount of clearance between the cleat belts and the sidewalls. It has rugged 3/8th inch thick belt cleats, and reaches speeds of more than 60 feet per minute.

Shibuya Hoppmann, of Elkwood, Va., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shibuya Kogyo Co. of Kanazawa, Japan.
