Tool-Mover able to handle large molds

Published: December 5, 2012 6:00 am ET

RUD Chains Ltd. has developed the Innovative Tool-Mover, a device for the safe turning and tilting of heavy and awkward items, such as large injection molds.

It turns the load at the center of gravity, which means the load is turned very smoothly and securely. A frequency controlled drive ensures an even and smooth drive. The device can be stopped securely, in any position, even if power to the unit is cut off.

The Tool-Mover does not need to be bolted to the floor, so it can be moved to new locations using a crane or a fork lift.

Polyurethane plates cover the unit, helping to keep tools from getting damaged.

RUD Chains is based in Kent, England.
