ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (Dec. 7, 12:05 p.m. ET) — Distributor Curbell Plastics Inc. has acquired supplier American Plastics and its subsidiaries, Waggoner Plastics and American Plastics O&P.

American supplies plastic sheet and other materials for industrial and engineering capabilities. Waggoner specializes in engineered and machine parts for the aerospace industry, and O&P supplies materials for orthotics and prosthetics.

The companies are all located in the same Arlington, Texas, facility.

American will become one of Curbell’s 16 U.S. sales and distribution facilities.

The acquisition will boost both Curbell’s geographic footprint and its strength in several specialized industries, according to a news release.

Curbell has plans for capital investment and infrastructure improvements at the new site.

Curbell, based in Orchard Park, N.Y., distributes plastic sheet, rod, film and tube for commercial and industrial markets. It is a subsidiary of Curbell Inc.
