WILLIAMSTON, MICH. (Dec. 14, 11:30 a.m. ET) — Brian Onweller, Bekum America Corp.’s customer support manager, died unexpectedly Dec. 11. He was 59.

Onweller, a Bekum America employee since 1981, had held a number of increasingly key positions at the Williamston-based company. His responsibilities had included managing the company’s NPE trade show exhibits.

“Brian was a dedicated employee, a friend and mentor to all and could always be counted on to contribute his wealth of industry knowledge to anyone needing assistance. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him,” the company said in a statement.

Onweller is survived by Terri, his wife of 32 years, and their two children, son Shane and daughter Kari.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674 or Boys and Girls Club of Lansing, 4315 Pleasant Grove Road, Lansing, MI 48910.
