XYMotion of Longmont, Colo., is offering what it calls the first forklift-mounted crane with true X. Y and Z motion control — like an overhead crane — for moving and placing molds and tools.

The Forkrane MT1200 gives the operator precise, one-handed remote control for exact placement. The operator uses a wireless remote control. The standard MT1200 can handle loads of 1,200 pounds, and it can be easily customized for heavier loads.

The portable, battery-operated unit attaches to a forklift in seconds and can be easily removed and stored.

It costs $15,975.
