CHELTENHAM, ENGLAND (Jan. 7, 2 p.m. ET) — Vero Software plc has acquired Sescoi International SAS, a specialist in 2D to 5-axis NC machining.
Terms were not disclosed. Sescoi, which is based in Sancé, France, makes manufacturing software including the WorkNC product suite.
Cheltenham-based Vero said it will continue to invest in the WorkNC suite, and that the deal makes it the largest software firm to specialize in computer aided manufacturing.
Vero’s brands include Alphacam, Cabinet Vision, Edgecam and Machining Strategist.
