HILLIARD, OHIO (Jan. 7, 2 p.m. ET) — Corrugated high density polyethylene pipe manufacturer Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. has acquired Inlet & Pipe Protection Inc., a manufacturer of storm water inlet filters.
Hilliard-based ADS has included Inlet & Pipe’s Flexstorm-brand products in its catalog since 2009.
ADS plans to increase production of Flexstorm products to meet growing demand, according to Ron Vitarelli, chief operating officer and executive vice president of ADS. Prior to 2009, most of the Flexstorm products were sold in the U.S. Midwest.
Inlet & Pipe Protection is based in Naperville, Ill.
