MASSILLON, OHIO (Jan. 10, 12:40 p.m. ET) — NFM/Welding Engineers Inc. has named Jan van Bakergem as global managing director of compounding systems, starting Jan. 7.
Van Bakergem comes to NFM from Mac Process Inc., where he was global petrochemical industry director at the maker of pneumatic conveying and feeding equipment. Before that, he was president and CEO of compounding extruder maker Coperion Corp.
Officials of the Massillon-based NFM/Welding Engineers report good U.S. sales of TEM twin-screw compounding extruders. The machinery manufacturer is bolstering global sales, as it boosts production capacity.
“Jan is a proven business leader with invaluable, extensive experience in the global ‘B2B’ business development. He has a strong background in operational structuring and global positioning,” NFM President Paul Roberson said in a prepared statement.
