MACEDONIA, OHIO (Jan. 11, 10:25 a.m. ET) — Great Day Improvements LLC of Macedonia, the company behind sunroom creator Patio Enclosures, said it has acquired PVC window fabricator Stanek Vinyl Window Co.'s operating assets for an undisclosed price.

Great Day Improvements, a residential and commercial remodeler, intends to manufacture and offer Stanek-brand windows as part of its comprehensive line of home improvement products.

Steve White, managing partner of Great Day Improvements, said the purchase helps his firm to broaden its home improvement product offerings.

The Stanek brand had been in existence for 60 years.

Last year, Great Day Improvements, which operates in 28 states, also acquired SoftWall Finishing Systems, a manufacturer of an acoustically efficient panelized interior wall finishing system for basements, home theaters, offices, media rooms and bedrooms.
