Composites show to feature close mold demonstrations

Composites One LLC of Arlington Heights, Ohio, along with Closed Mold Alliance and 20 industry partners, will build parts on the show floor during Composites 2013 in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 29-31.

The closed mold demonstrations will include a production part of a Composites One customer, Regal Marine Industries, a manufacturer of luxury boats in Orlando.

Other closed mold processes on display will include the vacuum infusion process, using OptiPlus from CCP Composites, an infusion resin; Flex Molding, a technique developed by Magnum Venus Plastech; and the Sprayomer, a flexible bag system from SR Composites.
