Future Design Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario, has received U.S. patent number 8,282,374 for its evacuation system for blown film operations, commonly known as the Saturn Evacuation System.
“This will help the operators in the plant environment by removing smoke, fumes and contaminants from the air, a definite benefit for their health and safety,” said the inventor, Future Design founder Robert Krycki.
The SES captures up to 80 percent of airborne particulates as they exit the die.
