If you're finishing your first cup of coffee this morning and you notice something different about PlasticsNews.com, you're not dreaming. Welcome to our new website!
We have completely redesigned the site for the first time in about five years. It's a clean, modern layout with more intuitive navigation. Even seasoned visitors will discover interesting content that they didn't realize we offered.
So scroll up and down the homepage, click on links and enjoy the experience. As we put up more fresh news, videos and blog posts in the next few days, you'll see the site will become even more helpful, with links to related stories and other content that you'll find interesting.
You'll also notice our new logo. This is the first change to our distinctive rainbow-themed "flag" in nearly 24 years. We kept the rainbow, which is meant to reflect the versatility of plastics: a material that can take all sorts of shapes, colors and properties.
The changes won't be confined to the website. Watch your mailbox next week for our redesigned print issue. We're keeping all of the popular features that our readers love, like our newsclips, editorials, cartoons, resin pricing and special reports. And, of course, lots of breaking news and features from the biggest, best and most global editorial team in the business.
I hope you enjoy the changes -- and the things that we've kept the same.
