Robert Engle named Otto CEO

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Waste container manufacturer Otto Environmental Systems North America has a new CEO.

Robert Engle was named CEO effective Jan. 1, the Charlotte-based injection molder announced Jan. 14.

In addition, outgoing CEO Anthony Hardwick has been named vice chairman of the board of Otto Industries North America.

Engle has spent the last five years as Americas president of reusable plastic packaging manufacturer Schoeller Arca Systems Inc. He also served as supply-chain vice president for Dole Food Co., according to a news release.

Otto Environmental is a division of Otto Group BV, a privately held, European-based company specializing in waste-collection products.
